Human Design

The most practical layer, and the most fragile. Human Design turns a birth moment into a decision-making strategy rather than a description. It is also the system most easily broken by an uncertain birth time, and we are unusually strict about saying when that has happened.

What it measures

Tropical planetary positions mapped onto a wheel of 64 gates, computed twice: once at birth — the Personality — and once at the moment the Sun stood 88 degrees of arc earlier, roughly three months before, which gives the Design. The two sets together define which energy centres are defined and which are open.

What it contributes that nothing else does

An instruction rather than a portrait. Type and authority tell you how to decide — wait for a response, sleep on it, check your gut, talk it out. None of the other seven systems attempts this. Astrology tells you what a moment holds; Human Design tells you what to do when it arrives.

The open centres are the other genuinely useful part: they identify where you take on other people’s states and mistake them for your own.

Its limit

Gate lines change within minutes of arc, so a birth time out by a quarter of an hour can flip your profile and, in some charts, your authority. If you tell us the time is remembered rather than documented, we compute the chart at your stated time and at the offsets either side, and we show you which conclusions survive and which do not. If nothing survives, we say the reading cannot be given honestly and point you at a birth certificate or at rectification.

This is the single most common place where the astrology industry sells something that does not exist.

What we need from you

A documented birth time, ideally to the minute. Without one this system is not computable, and we will not guess at it.

Human Design alone: €38. All eight systems, cross-read: €108.

The Dossier includes the Gene Keys reading of the same 64 gates, which is not sold separately — the two are the same computation read two ways, and they belong together.
