Western Predictive
The Western answer to the question Jyotish answers with dashas. Secondary progressions, solar arc directions and the solar return chart — three methods for moving a natal chart forward in time, each with a different claim to precision.
What it measures
Secondary progressions advance the chart one day for each year of life, so your progressed Moon walks through a sign in roughly two and a half years and marks the emotional chapters. Solar arc moves everything forward by the Sun’s yearly motion, producing exact contacts to natal points that arrive in identifiable years. The solar return casts a fresh chart for the moment the Sun comes back to its natal degree — a portrait of the coming twelve months.
What it contributes
A second opinion on timing, computed from entirely different reasoning than the Vedic clock. This is where the cross-reading earns its name: the dasha boundary and the solar arc contact are derived from unrelated methods, so when they name the same season the convergence is evidence rather than coincidence. When they don’t, the reading says so and shows you both — which is the more common outcome, and more useful than a manufactured agreement.
Its limit — and why we don’t sell it alone
These are directional methods, not dated ones. Solar arc gives a year; progressions give a season. Sold alone, the honest deliverable would be vaguer than the Full Year at €44 while costing nearly as much — so it makes no sense as a separate product.
The solar return also needs an accurate birth time to be worth computing at all: its houses shift completely on a few minutes.
Not sold separately. Its whole value is in the comparison.
Not sold alone. Included in all eight systems, cross-read: €108. If it is timing you want, The Full Year — €44 is the product built for that, and it runs the Vedic and Western clocks side by side.
